El nuevo single de la banda inglesa Coldplay, “Violet Hill”, estuvo disponible durante una semana en internet, para que sus fans pudieran bajarlo sin costo alguno.

Al día de hoy, más de dos millones de fans ya bajaron el tema. El single, a partir del 6 de Mayo, ya está disponible comercialmente.

El nuevo álbum del grupo, “Viva la vida or Death And All His Friends” será lanzado el día 24 de junio.

Chris Martin ha descrito a su nuevo álbum como un nuevo giro para lo que venía haciendo la banda. Lo distingue de los discos anteriores, a los que hace referencia como una “trilogía”.

Algunas canciones en Viva la Vida, como “Violet Hill”, tienen riffs de guitarras distorsionadas y hasta algunos tonos de blues.
