El magnate Simon Cowell,  jurado y productor musical y juez del ‘American Idol’ y del ‘Factor X’ británico, ha reunido a varios de los cantantes del Reino Unido y de Estados Unidos para grabar una versión del clásico de REM ‘Everybody Hurts’, para recaudar fondos en apoyo a los esfuerzos en Haití.

La canción ‘Everybody Hurts’, de REM, saldrá a la venta el próximo 7 de febrero en formato digital y cuenta con la participación de 21 artistas, como: Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Kylie, Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Miley Cyrus, Take That, Joe McElderry, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Mika, Michael Bublé, James Blunt, James Morrison, Susan Boyle y  Westlife.

Las ganancias generadas por la venta del single serán repartidas en partes iguales entre Disasters Emergency Committee (Comité de Emergencia para Desastres) y la iniciativa “Helping Haití”, que encabeza el diario británico The Sun.

Michael Bublé se ha prometido con Luisana Lopilato, conocida actriz que interpreta a Mia Colucci en la serie ‘Rebelde Way’. Le pidió la mano delante de la familia de la actriz con un anillo de diamantes que el mismo había diseñado.

La pareja que lleva enamorada bastante tiempo, se conocieron después de un concierto de Michael en Buenos Aires, y según sus amistades, fue amor a primera vista. Desde entonces son una pareja inseparable, y tratan de pasar todo el tiempo posible juntos, aunque suponga un gran esfuerzo por sus compromisos profesionales.
