5 Things to Keep in Mind while Preparing for Exams

Hardly a month is left for exams, and you’re looking for the best tips to keep in mind while preparing for the same. Whether you’re appearing for your board or general exams, the first and foremost  tip is to be stress-free and happy

You can excel with the preparations you’ve been doing till now with the help of various resources but it is advisable to refer to NCERT Solutions as your first guide for whichever primary or secondary class you’re in. Follow these Tips to Ace Your Exams:

1.      Split your day

Break your day to get 8 hours of sleep and 10 hours of study time. This ensures that you still have 6 hours in a day to eat, sleep or just to go out. You can also split your study hours in the ratio 5:5 or 4:6 or 4:3:3 and also with short or long duration breaks in between. Remember to start with and treat the NCERT Solutions as Bible as it is according to the CBSE Prescribed syllabus.

2.      Take a Break

A break helps in a refreshing mind especially when you study for long hours continuously. Playing video games or surfing the Internet or watching TV can’t be considered a break which rejuvenates your mind and body. For that, you need to go out in the fresh air and natural light.

3.      Schedule your Date sheet

You can easily avoid distractions when you set a time limit for something. The passion to achieve the time limit before the deadline will help you to focus more. While preparing a timetable for yourself, remember not to try to put in all in one day. Example: If you’re in Class 7, start going through the basic concepts given in NCERT Solutions Class 7 and then, plan and organize remaining concepts according to the Date sheet given.

4.      Make your brain more focused by eating Dark chocolate

You’ve been studying hard and sleeping well but you also need to keep your brain alert and healthy for memorization. Dark chocolate is an energy booster and is also rich in antioxidants. Other foods you can have to keep your brain energized are blueberries, nuts, green leafy vegetables, and avocados. Don’t forget to stay hydrated.

5.      Practice Smart study

Don’t just glare and keep going through the same study material again and again. Solve a variety of questions from solution books like NCERT Solutions for Class 8.
