The transmission is through S-tronic 7 speed gear box. The V10 variant takes 3.6 sec and the V8 variant 7.51 sec for 0 to 100 kmph acceleration and the top speeds are 314 and 311 kmph respectively.
Ride Quality
The suspensions of the R8 are adaptive damper systems with individual selection of the settings. The damping force individually adjusted to make the ride comfortable. The brakes are ventilated discs on all the wheels. The wheels are R18 for the base and R19 for the top variants.
