Cable Jointing Kits
The cable jointing kits are used mostly in high voltage electrical systems for protection of the cable joints formed within a circuit. The cable joints are formed to increase the length of a cable in a particular section of an electrical circuit. These cable joints need protection from mechanical stress, chemicals, moisture and pollution. The cable joints provide a tight seal around the joints which protect the joint from any sort of external effect. Compaq offers a wide range of heat shrinkable and cold shrink cable jointing kits that are designed to work under extreme working conditions.
The heat shrinkable jointing kits are made from high grade polyolefin and have a shape memory. This property allows them to regain their original shape on application of heat more that their crystallization temperature.
The cold shrink jointing kits are factory expanded and have a plastic core inserted in between them. When the joint is applied on the right place, the plastic core is removed and the joint regains its original shape and provides a tight seal around the joint for its protection.
