Some Of The Kindle Technical Issues and Their Fixes

We all have been there, the times when our so beloved devices turn against us. They just won’t work the way you want them to work. Maybe it’s their way of revolt, Maybe they are tired of being told what to do, they are tired of being pushed and they want to tell you that. And that is why we must be prepared for their expression of anguish.

Take for example Amazon Kindle Fire, It has many technical issues and you must be aware of them and know how to handle them. Here is a list of some of the problems and their solutions as advised by Kindle customer service:

Keyboard typing inconsistently?

There is a strange issue with Kindle Fire tablet that’s been coming around.  The tablet fails to type correctly and sometimes produce a number of characters instead of the the text intended.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Try cleaning the touchscreen with a piece of cotton cloth and you need to see that the cae you are using is fitted correctly and also there are no air bubbles if any screen protector is being used
  2. Hold down the power button for few seconds till it get turned off and then press the power button to turn it on.
  3. You need back up all the data to for this one. Hold down the factory reset button to reset it

Showing the error “An Internal Error Occurred”?

This is a frequent error with the kindle fire and possibly the most dreaded of them all. This error can be difference between a good experience with an app and an ugly one.

Possible solutions:

  1. Try turning off your router and on again.
  2. Hold down the power button on your kindle for few seconds and turn it on subsequently.
  3. Get that swiped down menu on your screen and tap More > Applications > Installed Applications and then look for the app that won’t load then force stop the app and subsequently clear the data.

Given up on trying to connect your Kindle to PC?

You tried to connect your kindle to your PC but after all the tries you cannot move an ebook from your PC to Kindle but all in vain! You just can’t make your two devices communicate.

Potential solutions:

  1. Try restarting your Kindle holding down the power
  2. While trying to connect to a Windows XP or Vista PC take notice if the Media Transfer Protocol Protocol Kit is installed
