Sumit Sawhney, the Managing Director and Operations Country CEO of Renault India commented on the introduction of the forthcoming 1-liter hatchback and said, ‘’Kwid is going extremely well in India and it is in huge demand, and we are now keen to strengthen the presence of the car to a greater level in the country with the launch of 1.1-liter engine.
Since the time of launch in 2015 September till now more than 75,000 units of Kwid is sold. With the forthcoming 1-liter Kwid we are keen on building the brand value of the car and also determined to offer customers a more powerful model of the existing car in entry-level market. The existing Kwid is powered with a robust 800cc engine and is sold within a price range of Rs 2.62 to 3.67 lakhs and now the 1-liter Kwid is likely to be sold at a price of Rs 3.2 to 4.1 lakhs.
Very soon the Kwid with 1.0-liter engine will launch in India, and this car will have AMT transmission. Now what is interesting about this forthcoming car, let us go through some of the intriguing features. It is going to have the exact same features as the present car, let us find out.
